Propolis is natural biologically active resinous substance collected by bees from buds and leaves of various trees and some grass plants. Its main ingredients are wax, resins, aromatic and ethereal oils, organic acids, amino-acids and other organic matters. 

Propolis exerts antibacterial, antifungual and antiviral activity as well as anaesthetic properties. It is recommended as adisinfectant and antiflamatory agent for mouth, nose and respiratory treatment as well as at the vases of the skin, oesophagus and digestive track sickness.
